What Type of Flosser is Best for Your Gum Health?

Flosser Edelweiss Dental Implant Center TX 75019-2733There are a number of flossers on the market that are great for your gum health. Those that want to learn more about which one is best for their oral health can do so by reading on each of them and what they provide the user with.

However, at the end of the day, the best one comes down to which one you are most comfortable using because you will be less likely to forget about it or skip using it.

Using floss is highly recommended and when it comes to better oral health, flossing is one of the best ways to strengthen your gums, make them bleed less and also make sure that you're getting the clean feeling that you want and need between your teeth.

Traditional Floss

Traditional floss is often underrated for its ability to clean between the teeth. It is one of the best options to go with that is inexpensive and that really provides a clean that you wouldn't be able to get from just brushing. However, when the floss is not used correctly, you can actually do more harm than good to your teeth and gums.

Air Flosser

An air flosser can be uncomfortable to some since it is a bit more harsh than other options out there. It does provide a way to clean between the teeth and you don't have to worry about purchasing floss over and over again since you just need the machine and air!

Waterpik Flosser

These are one of the most used and loved flossers on the market. They clean in between teeth well, are not overly expensive, and allow you to add splashes of your favorite mouthwash into the water to help you freshen your breath and enhance that clean sensation you're after.

If you are not sure which type of flosser is right for you, we'd be more than happy to sit down with you and help you figure out which styles and brands are right for you.
